I love to connect travel and photography! Whether they are couples sessions in Seattle or somewhere on our blue marble. I’m the happiest person in the world when I can marry both!! It gives me a unique perspective because through the couples’ eyes, explore different locations and have my couples in their loved-up element.
I met Paolo and Ali and their amazing dog Jake, through my friend who lives in Seattle, Washington. My friend told me that she knows this unique and funny couple that was willing to be my models. I was intrigued. I met Paolo and Ali in Georgetown – one of my favourite and the oldest neighbourhoods in Seattle. Georgetown is a neighbourhood full of great coffee shops, small restaurants with tasty food, independent galleries and cute, little shops very much like Toronto. The idea of the photo shoot was very simple. We walk around Georgetown and just play by the ear! In a place like that and with an open couple, it’s actually very easy. When there are no expectations anything can happen! At some point, we stopped at the record store called Georgetown Records and asked if we can take a few photos inside. The owner was very welcoming.
It gave me the opportunity to really get to know Paolo and Ali and create lasting memories and forge meaningful connections.
What I loved the most about this session is that Paolo and Ali were both really open and vulnerable. They weren’t afraid to have fun but also they weren’t afraid of showing their emotions. Plus they brought their cute dog Jake so if you know me, you also know that I’m already sold!
