Scarborough Bluffs are one of those unreal places in Toronto which you don’t expect to see when you get there. In my opinion this is one of the most popular spots for the engagement session within the city. Every time when I photograph a session there, I see at least two more photographers walking around with couples. Despite the popularity, I feel like this is a great place to do the session and enjoy amazing views. The place has a great landscape which is unusual for the Toronto area. Is has a calming view with a lot of greenery around. The sunset over bluffs is simply magical. When Angie and Greg told me that they want to bring their dog Henry I got all excited!
I just love to photograph engagement sessions with dogs. They bring their personalities and energy to the photo shoot. They also make everyone more relaxed and very often they are the centre of attention. Some time ago I created a blog post where I talk more about including your dog on the wedding day and on your engagement session: 10 Tips on How To Best Include Your Dog in your Wedding Day or Engagement Photo Shoot.
I wouldn’t call Henry a camera shy dog but he is the kind of dog who has a lot of energy but at the same time he doesn’t want to be the centre of attention all the time. I had a great time this afternoon. I’m super happy that Angie and Greg were open to my maybe sometimes weird ideas which at the end allowed me to create some great photos!
